Erik J Pratt is an actor / juggler / clown and proud Kansas Citian.

Having first headed off to Florida for engineering school, Erik eventually saved the world (or at least the flying public) by deciding to pursue acting instead. Returning home, he enrolled in the University of Missouri—Kansas City’s theatre program and never looked back.

Erik has performed in many venues around Kansas City including The Kansas City Repertory Theater, Theatre for Young America, The Living Room, & The Kansas City Mystery Train, as well as performing in and directing new works in The KC Fringe Festival. He has also performed in national tours of “The Diary of Anne Frank” and “The Boston Tea Party” as well as touring as a performer & teaching artist with “Poetry Alive!”. He has also performed 100s of unique scripted/improvised murder mysteries at wineries throughout the Midwest with Upstage Productions.

An accomplished juggler & clown, Erik is also the founder of Drops Unlimited Entertainment. With Drops Unlimited he has done thousands of juggling, stilt-walking, and physical theatre shows & workshops for festivals, schools, libraries, and Renaissance Fairs across the country.

Believing that the most important thing we can do as a society is tell and listen to each other’s stories, Erik is very excited to be starting a new journey in 2024. With his amazingly talented wife Jamie, he is combining his love for theatre, science, and clowning into their new company “Hypothesis: a Theatre Lab”.
